boston

Every day we have a choice to make; do something positive in the world or do something bad.  Everyone of us has the opportunity to spark change, make a difference and to bring goodness into this world.  Our actions however insignificant they may seem, are part of a master tapestry where each thread is an integral part of the whole.  The Boston bombings and the events surrounding it are examples of the badness and evil that exists however, the heroism and commitment of the people of Boston is the more important story.  Let’s not sensationalize and immortalize the badness of terrorists, but celebrate the lives of those lost as well as all of the people of Boston.  Not only do we need to focus on the positive, we need to make it a daily part of our lives; in the doing, recognizing and sharing of good deeds.  The simplicity of good versus evil is predicated by the choice we all make each and every day.  A smile, a kind gesture or letting what could be perceived as an injustice go, these are all the small things that through the benefit of compounding, can make the difference in a world that lately has seemed to have gone mad.

What positive thing will you do today?
