I love Tim Tebow. From when he was a Gator and my daughter Lauren was a Gator too, Tim Tebow stands for so much that is good and is my definition of a hero. I find it interesting however, how the media and most people bad mouth him. John Elway had his own reservations about who Tim Tebow is and how he played. What do you think now John? The media and people mock his commitment to his religion and discount him as not an NFL caliber player. What may I ask is an NFL player? Convicted felons who do jail time and then are rewarded multi million dollar contracts? Fresh mouth know it alls who worry about their pocketbooks and nothing else. I find Tim Tebow refreshing. Have we all grown so cynical and jaded that when something positive and good comes along we are frightened by it? How many 24 year olds do you know who start their own Foundations and already have raised tons of money for charity? How many do you know are building hospitals for underprivileged kids? How many spent spring break building houses for those in need? I am thrilled Tim Tebow is on the scene both in the NFL and in the media as he gives me hope for our future. We are imperfect people living in an imperfect world, but don’t we want good positive role models for our children? Isn’t Tim Tebow a good example that we should aspire too? I am tired of all the ‘reality’ stars who behave badly, make ridiculous amounts of money for being morons and they are society’s celebrities. I will go out on a limb against most opinions and say thank God for Tim Tebow. He gives me hope that maybe we do have a brighter future I for one am a fan! Thank you Tim Tebow!
