The holidays keep us busy.  Shopping, decorating, baking are just a few of the many tasks that make the holidays a special time.  Unfortunately, making things so special actually can be stressful for many people.  The saying, youth is wasted on children is never more apparent during the holidays.  The lengths that people will go to in order to make the holidays memorable can be downright crazy.  Are the holidays only special when there is tons of presents?  Are they special due to an over abundance of sweet treats, or do all the lights and decorations make them worthwhile?  While I like all of the above, the answer is in the people you spend time with.  Near or far, the holidays are about making a memory.  How you feel when you share a meal, some time and some laughter with people is the true magic of Christmas.  The lights and tree will come down, the cookies eaten and the presents will soon be forgotten, however the memories of time spent with family and friends will endure and are the real barometer of a Merry Christmas!

Enjoy the pursuit of wonderful memories!
