What are you thankful for; family, friends, good health? Thanksgiving is a day to acknowledge those things we hold near and dear to us, but did you ever wonder if others are thankful having us in their lives? Are our family and friends giving thanks for knowing us and being part of their lives? Does our behavior set a good example for our children? Do we live our lives in a way we would want our children to emulate? Are we compassionate, kind and forgiving? Are we respectful human beings who are able to put others before our own self interests? Do we make our parents proud?

I am thankful for my husband, all my children, our grandchildren, and my parents. I am thankful for our family and friends near and far whose presence in our lives has made us better and happier people. Although we are faced with challenges, I thank God for those people who help us find strength and comfort to face those challenges surrounded by love. They give us hope that we can handle anything and for that I am most thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving!
